This page explains how to report abusive content or an abusive user on ScriptReady, and how to reach us if you cannot use the app to do it. ScriptReady is developed and operated by 380 Productions Inc.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Then tell us, so we can act on the account.
Reporting in the app is the fastest route, because it tells us exactly who and what you mean. On most screens the control is a small “…” (three-dots) icon beside the person’s name, not a button labelled “Report”. Tapping it opens a sheet in which Report and Block are separate, separately labelled actions — they are never merged into one control.
Reports are limited to one per minute and 20 per 24 hours per account, so that report-spam cannot drown out genuine reports. If you send two in quick succession, the app will ask you to wait a moment before sending the next one.
The same sheet offers Block as a separate action. Blocking takes effect immediately: the connection between your two accounts is severed, and the recordings made for that share — by either of you — are permanently deleted. Takes you recorded yourself, on a script you own, are not affected. Before anything is destroyed, the confirmation tells you what will go — the number of recordings, and the script they came from where we can identify it. Removing someone from a call that is already in progress, and deleting the underlying audio files, are dispatched at the same moment and normally complete within seconds.
Blocking deletes content permanently, and that part cannot be undone. Unblocking someone lets them contact you again, but it does not restore the recordings or shared scripts that blocking removed. You can see everyone you have blocked — and unblock them — in the app under Settings → Privacy & Safety → Blocked People.
Both directions of every relationship in ScriptReady carry these controls: the person who records lines for you, and the person who sent you lines to record; the host of a live call, and every guest in it. There is no admin, staff or moderator account type, and no account is exempt from being reported or blocked.
You do not need a ScriptReady account, and you do not need to install or open the app, to report someone to us. Email our safety contact:

Please put Abuse Report in the subject line so the message is routed as a safety report rather than as general support.
Notices of claimed copyright infringement are a different procedure and must go to our designated copyright agent — see Copyright & DMCA.
The more of this you can tell us, the faster we can act on the right account:
Please do not send passwords. We will never ask you for your password.
Every report is written to a permanent record the moment you send it, and a notification goes to our safety mailbox, where a person reads it within 24 hours. Safety reports are triaged ahead of general support, which is why this is a shorter commitment than the 2 business days quoted on our Support page for the same mailbox. If you emailed us, we reply to the address you wrote from.
Harassing or harming other users is prohibited by our Terms of Service. Depending on what we find, we may remove the material, sever the connection between the accounts involved, or suspend or terminate the reported account. Blocking is yours to use in the meantime and does not wait on us — it takes effect the moment you confirm it.
