This Privacy Policy explains what information ScriptReady (operated by 380 Productions Inc.) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only your email address, name, and profile picture — nothing else from your Google or Apple account.
We collect information you provide directly: email address (for account creation), scripts you upload, audio recordings you create, and device information (for push notifications and crash reporting). ScriptReady requires an account — there is no way to use the app without signing in.
We use your information to: provide and maintain the ScriptReady service; enable script sharing and collaboration features; deliver push notifications about recording activity; improve the app through crash reports and product usage analytics linked to your account (you can turn off usage analytics any time in Settings → Privacy); meter AI voice usage for billing purposes; and communicate with you about your account.
ScriptReady uses third-party service providers to operate the app. Providers that receive your script content for AI processing are named individually below. The remaining providers are described by the function they perform.

Other service providers. These providers do not receive your script text for AI processing. Each is described below by its activity, its industry sector, and where it processes your data.
These providers process your data outside your country, including in the United States — see International Data Transfers below. You can ask us for the names of the specific companies behind any category above at any time, and we will give them to you: email support@scriptready.app.
Separately, ScriptReady includes open-source software; the full list of components and their licenses is available in the app under Settings → Open Source Licenses.
When you join a Live Reader session, your live audio (and video, if enabled) is transmitted in real time to the other participants in that session through a third-party real-time audio/video infrastructure provider. The display name you choose for Live Reader is visible to the other participants in the session. Live session audio and video are used only to conduct the session between participants.
Audio recordings you create are stored on your device. If you enable cloud sync, recordings are temporarily uploaded to our servers to facilitate transfer between your devices. Cloud copies are automatically deleted 3 days after download. Recordings shared with collaborators via share links are stored until the share expires or is deleted.
When you rehearse with speech recognition enabled, your microphone audio is used solely to recognize your lines in real time so the app can follow along with your script. ScriptReady does not store, collect, sell, or share your voice, and your voice is never used to create, train, or clone AI voices. The AI reader voices in the app are licensed ElevenLabs voices and are not based on any user's voice. Speech recognition is performed by your device's built-in speech engine (Apple or Google), and audio may be transmitted to Apple's or Google's speech services depending on your device's capabilities, under their terms. Recordings you deliberately create are covered by the Audio Recordings section above.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your script content and recordings are only shared with other users when you explicitly create and distribute a share link. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Scripts and recordings are stored on your device until you delete them. Cloud-synced recordings are retained for 3 days after download, then automatically deleted. If you delete your account, your data is deleted from our servers immediately (see Account Deletion). Microphone audio processed for speech recognition during rehearsal is not retained by us at all — it is used in real time to follow your place in the script and is discarded as it is processed. We do not create, store, or derive a voiceprint or any other biometric identifier from your voice.
You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app: open Settings → Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Your account, profile, scripts, recordings, and shares are permanently deleted from our servers, and any unused credits of every type (AI voice, script upload, Live Reader — whether granted or purchased) are forfeited and are non-refundable through us. We retain usage analytics, crash reports, and de-identified service records (including AI-voice usage records kept for billing and legal compliance) after account deletion; these are no longer linked to your account identity. We also keep a minimal internal record that the account existed (email address, display name, and account creation, last-use, and deletion dates) for business records and to prevent abuse of free offers; this record is never public. If you no longer have access to the app, visit scriptready.app/delete-account for instructions on requesting deletion.
ScriptReady is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
You have the right to: access your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; delete your account and data at any time in the app via Settings → Delete Account (see Account Deletion); and withdraw consent for data processing. You can disable usage analytics at any time via the toggle in Settings → Privacy. Note that crash reports and AI voice usage metering (used for billing and service operation) continue while you use the app. To exercise your other rights, contact support@scriptready.app.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
ScriptReady is operated from the United States, and our service providers process your data in the United States and, for real-time audio and video, in other regions. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, your personal data is therefore transferred outside your country. Where a transfer requires a safeguard, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable), or on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it. To request details of the safeguards for a particular provider, email support@scriptready.app.
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to: obtain access to your personal data and a copy of it; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict how we process it; object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests; receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format; and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@scriptready.app. We respond within one month. That period may be extended by up to two further months for complex or numerous requests, and we will tell you within the first month if we need the extension. We do not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
If you ask us who has received your personal data, we will give you the names of the specific companies — not only the categories listed under Third-Party Services.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EEA, your national authority is listed at edpb.europa.eu.
This section applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.
Categories of personal information we collect. Identifiers (email address, name, profile picture, account identifier, device push token); commercial information (subscription, credit purchase and usage records); internet or other electronic network activity (in-app usage events and crash diagnostics); audio information (recordings you create, and microphone audio processed in real time during rehearsal that we do not retain); and visual information (camera video during self-tape and Live Reader sessions). We collect this information from you directly and from the device you use.
Why we collect it. For the business purposes described under “How We Use Your Information” above. How long we keep it is described under “Data Retention”.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months, and we do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link — in particular, we do not process your voice or face to uniquely identify you.
Your rights. You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it, to obtain a copy of it, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
How to exercise them. You can delete your account and its data yourself in the app at Settings → Delete Account, or email support@scriptready.app. We verify requests against the email address on your account. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf if they provide written permission we can verify.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, you will be notified within the app. Continued use of ScriptReady after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
